A photo a day of life in Lorain, Ohio
Oh, wow, this is really awesome! I love steam engines.Great!
For the right price, one could have taken a ride on this train from Rocky River to Bellevue today. Maybe someday…
there is nothing sweeter than the sound of the steam engine’s whistle…I just love it..and loved hearing it today…so cool!
Hi Denise – thanks for checking out Lorain 365 :-) You might enjoy the video in the ‘return trip’ post. I had to leave the whistle in – it’s all part of the experience!
I remember when something like this happened when you were just a “kiddo”. Remember our trip to the roundhouse in Bellevue?
Yup. That is where my respect for trains comes from. Had no clue about the size or power until that adventure. I was probably standing closer today than you would’ve liked ;-)
I will be riding Thomas the Tank engine and meeting Sir Toppemhat next Sunday hope I don’t end up out of “puff” ;) beautiful and nostalgic photos
Thank you and don’t forget to turn the camera on this time! :-D
