Unbelievable

The city will shortly have a large surplus of “walk” signs when they take all the traffic lights down. My suggestion is, that in the drink zone these lights be mounted and set so that they are flashing during drinking hours in full view of the imbibing pedestrians. Should be interesting with a beer in one hand and a telephone in the other. I will leave it up to the viewers to develop a now logo to flash on the lights.

Hey, Dennis – that’s a great idea! Walk/Don’t Walk – Drink/Don’t Drink, the walking and drinking game! Free entertainment in the Entertainment District 😀
They recycled some of the old traffic lights for Christmas 2014 and used them in the trees in Veterans Park as uplighting, so TPTB just might be open to your idea. [https://lorain365.com/2014/12/14/traffic-lights-in-the-trees/]
