I shot the snowy owl in my neighborhood

She’s been sitting on the neighbor’s roof for hours.
The chattering squirrel across the street has caught her attention,
as have the various birds who sounded the alarm at her presence.
The neighborhood bunnies, possums, puckwudgets, and mice have been warned.
