Week Fifteen Photo Challenge – food for thought

Here’s a house that is on the demolition list, has set a record for the required escrow amount for repairs [more than the house is worth], and whose owner repeatedly ignores Lorain’s housing laws and court. Inexplicably, the city has now granted him a building permit.

This is the Henry Oswald Wurmser House at 1348 West Erie Avenue in June 2015.
