beautiful day for A Taste of History

  1. It was a beautiful night along the Black River. There was a nice breeze, the crowd size was just right, the entertainment was in the midst of the wine and food booths which definitely contributed to the overall laid back vibe, there were lots of smiles and folks were having a good time. I will definitely go earlier and stay longer next year!

  2. And as for the trees, Georgia, I think the colors may be a result of the stress of the drought we’ve been having. We got a good soaking on Friday, but we need a few more to get caught up.

    1. I remember that we once had bald trees by the end of August in Germany because of drought. The leaves went yellow already in July. I love these fall colors, but for the trees it is much too early.

  3. Lisa thanks for the nice comments. We worked many months with the planning and are always happy to hear that folks enjoyed themselves and hopefully purchased a wine glass from BRHS to help with our fund raising.
