Art and Mary Jo from the Lorain Elks are cleaning up Victory Park and will take any help they can get.
When we left them around 10-1015a, they were in need of a tall ladder to reach the top of the V.

As of noon, the V was painted, the flowers were planted and the yard had been edged. Everyone was gone. The Elks hope to restore the sword and palm frond to the Angel of Victory statue.

What a great thing. Way to go Elks Club. If only all the other Clubs in the City would participate all our parks would be shinning.
