The Lorain County Preservation Network (LCPN) is hosting an exhibition of building and home preservation activities that will take place in Lorain County today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Black River Landing Transportation Center, 421 Black River Lane, Lorain. Examples will come from Lorain, Elyria, Oberlin, Avon, Avon Lake and Sheffield Village. The event also will feature preservation updates from Charleston Village and the Carnegie Library both in Lorain. This event is free and open to the public.
Charleston Coffee House, 630 Broadway, will offer a “Thriller” dance workshop today at 7 p.m. Cost is $6 per person. This is in preparation for the Thrill the World global event on Oct. 26 when Michael Jackson’s Thriller zombie dance will be performed in Lorain and in locations around the world.
