Story problem of the day: Lisa went to the dollar store and bought 2 identical cans of soup.
Both cans were the same size and each contained the same net weight of 15.2 ounces.
One label proclaimed its can to be 30% bigger than 10.75 ounce condensed soup cans and the other label proclaimed its can was 35% bigger than 10.75 ounce soup cans.
Explain how this is possible and show your work 😉

“bigger” is a derivative term, with varying values and rates
used by bankers and others focused on profit 🙂
