  1. Did you see Loraine’s FB post about the pile in her neighborhood? Someone spray painted “bed bugs” on the bedding and the garbageman refused to pick it up! Now it will sit even longer, decorating the curb for the 4th of July and spreading the bugs to the passing fireworks crowd. Whatever happened to that crackdown on the “quality of life” issues, like this??

  2. well what happened is that bed bug infestation will even live in the wood cracks of the furniture so whoever picked up the dressers etc has some visitors one would think- I did call the city and they were looking into it the only way the waste company will pick it up is if it is sealed in plastic. good luck with that – I believe the Amherst owner of the property is responsible for removing it.

  3. I did see that about the bed bugs! My first thought was that someone just put the words on there for fun . . . who would advertise for the world to see out in the garbage that they have bed bugs?? As for the owner in Amherst being responsible to get rid of it . . . like you said Loraine, good luck with that!
