Just off Broadway, on East 23rd Street in central Lorain, sits another one of my favorite old houses.

There are so many beautiful , unique older homes in this city. Too bad you can’t get HGTV to come and fix some of them. It was. Great town to raise kids, and could be again. Forsight and adventure needed.

Hi Marge – thank you so much for stopping by Lorain 365! We appreciate your input! HGTV would probably only be interested in the lakefront houses, not the ones that are found in what has become the less than desirable areas.

Using the Sanborn Fire Maps, I was able to determine that this house was built sometime between 1905-1910. East 23rd Street used to be known as “Charles”. I don’t know if that’s Street or Avenue.
