wonderful and those glass shards just poised like icicles – hope the hair net holds ……..

You see how shredded the top of that net has become. It’s only a matter of time before the wind whips the rest of it apart the same way.

and right across from city hall….mayor chase and any other future mayor should be forced to stare out their window at this rather than lake erie.

July 2013 City Council and the Mayor weighed in- Ritenauer said no more repair extensions will be granted and the building’s fate is in the hands of the Board of Demolition Appeals or the city prosecutor.
“We have to say, ‘Enough is enough,’ ” he said. “We need to see some action.”
Then came a development plan and Historic Tax credits in December 2014- and since then??? The issue is this owned by a “private” company and the deal is between private companies – after attending the housing court and the time it takes to get something simple fixed and the attorney’s involved court cases to take more months if not years. The individuals involved in the “ownership” of this building need to do the right thing……
