The iconic Broadway Bldg brings back one of my most fondest memories if not the number one. The 2 dozen or so under classmen hitch hiking on Rt. 6 just before the Charles Berry Bascule Bridge waiting to catch a ride closer to home from an upper classmen with a car. It was right of passage to stop and pick up passengers once you were old and fortunate enough to drive. I wish someone could dig up a photo of that experience or even the neon strike from the bowler advertising Broadway lanes.
